Las Vegas: Indian grapplers continued their poor performance in the Greco-Roman categories at the ongoing World Wrestling Championships. Ravinder Singh (59kg) was the only Indian who managed to enter the repechage round on the second day of the tournament .
Ravinder went down to Bayramov of Azerbaijan 1-9 in the pre-quarterfinals. But he qualified for the repechage after Bayramov reached the final. Ravinder, however, lost 2-6 to Yun Won-Chol of North Korea in the repechage round.
The other Indians in action on Tuesday were unable to advance beyond the qualification round. Mohammed Rafiq Holi (71kg) went down 4-7 to Akrem Boudjemline of Algeria, Harpreet Singh (80kg) was defeated 0-2 by Askhat Dilmukhamedov of Kazakhstan while Naveen (130kg) was beaten 2-6 by Meng Qiang of China.
