Mumbai : Leftarm spinner Gaurav Ambavane continue to impress as he captured four wickets for 16 runs to help Bhosale Cricket Academy defeat Jwala Sports Foundation XI by 131 runs for their third win in the B4S (Brain-4-Sports)-MCC Pro40 5-team League, played at Oval Maidan on Tuesday.
The newcomer BCA batsmen have been in roaring form, hitting up over 200 whenever they bat first. They hammered 246 with Viraj Jadhav top-scoring with 66. JSWXI, in reply, were hardly in the picture and were dismissed for 115 in 27.4 overs with leftarm spinner Gaurav returning with four for 16.
In a low scoring tie, MCC (Green) recorded their second win, beating MCC (Blue) b y 3 wickets. Replying to MCC (Blue)’s score of 122, they struggled quite a bit before they were home with three wickets to spare.
