District ranking TT: Ansh Karnavar overcomes Ishaan Naik

Mumbai: Ansh Karnavar played well to score a deserving victory against Ishaan Naik posting a 11-9, 5-11, 11-7, and 11-7 win in a boy’s under-15 match of 1st TSTTA District Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2022, played at the Prabhodhankar Thackeray Krida Sankul, Vile Parle.

In another match, Arnav Kshirsagar defeated Merwyn Patel 11-7, 11-5, 11-9.

In a keenly contested Girls’ under-13 match, Tanvi Chukkal had to bring out her best to overcome Myraa Sanglekar 14-12, 12-10, while Divyanshi Bhoumick easily defeated Saachi Mandhyan 11-3, 11-3.

Results - Girls under-13: Aarya Redkar bt Sai Mulik 11-7, 11-3; Niva Chougle bt Neeti Trivedi 12-10, 11-6; Divyanshi Bhoumick bt Saachi Mandhyan 11-3, 11-3; Tanvi Chukkal bt Myraa Sanglekar 14-12, 12-10.
