Mumbai: Ranked players, Manushree Patil and Hiya Doshi cantered past their respective rivals winning their encounters on the second day of the CCI Juniors Prize-Money table tennis championship, at the CCI table tennis room, here on Saturday.
Top seed Manushree made it with a clean slate. In her day’s opener the Mumbai Subburan District player outwitted her team mate Krisha Sanghvi giving away just 19 points in the three games, she followed with a 11-5, 11-4, 11-9 win over Riya Suryavanshi.
And signed off the league beating Divya Keni11-7, 11-5, 11-6 to finish in pole position and book her place in the last four in her group. Krisha Sanghvi with two wins under her belt also made the semi cut. Second seed Hiya over came her mid game hicupp before prevailing over Trisha Dalmia 11-8, 7-11, 11-6, and 11-7. But after a wake up call in the first tie, she was all over her rival Shanica Kadam when she registe.
