Carmelites blank Blitzkrieg

Mumbai: Carmelites Sports Club produced a strong second half performance to blank Blitzkrieg Sports Club 2-0 in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Wednesday evening. After a barren first half, Carmelites struck two goals through Cedric Pinto and Dwyane MacCron to seal the match in their favour. Later in the evening, Guru Nanak SC and Central Railway Mumbai Division shared the spoils as they played out a tame goalless draw in a Super Division match.
