London: England bowled Sri Lanka out for 257 on the first day of the second Test with fast-medium bowler Stuart Broad grabbing a hat-trick. Skipper Alastair Cook opted to field first on winning the toss and England bowlers did a good job as they wrapped up Sri Lanka on day one.  England then went in to bat and completed the day on 36-0 with Cook and opening partner Sam Robson batting for the hosts.
