Asian Games 2018: Results of Indian players on Day 12

Jakarta/Palembang: Results of the Indian contingent on Day 12 of the 18th Asian Games. The star performance on the 12th day was of the women’s relay team who won the gold medal in 4x400m relay race.

1500m: Jinson Johnson (GOLD), Manjit Singh (Fourth)

5000m: Govindan Lakshmanan (Sixth)

4x400m Relay: India (SILVER)

Women

Discus Throw: Seema Punia (BRONZE)

Sandeep Kumari (Fifth)

1500m: P U Chitra (BRONZE)

4x400m Relay: India (GOLD)

HOCKEY:

Men’s Semifinal: India lost to Malaysia in shoot-off.

JUDO:

Harshdeep Singh Brar and Garima Choudhary lost in pre-quarterfinals

KURASH:

Danish Sharma (men’s 90kg) lost in quarterfinal.

Jyoti Thokas (women’s 78kg) lost in Round of 16.

SQUASH:

Women’s team lost to Hong Kong 1-2.

TABLE TENNIS:

Manika Batra, Sharath Kamal, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran reached pre-quarterfinals in singles.

VOLLEYBALL:

Men’s team lost to Myanmar.

SEPAKTAKRAW:

Women’s team lost to Thailand.
