Asian Games 2018 has finally arrived and the world is set to witness the tournament, in which over 10,000 athletes from 45 nations will take part. The 18th edition of the Asian Games will be hosted by two cities of Indonesia- Jakarta and Palembang. There will be total of 58 sports in which athletes will participate. The sport events will officially start from tomorrow but today the games will be inaugurated with the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony will start from 5:30 PM in India and will be hosted in Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta. The ceremony will showcase the rich culture of Indonesia. Many Indonesian singers and dancers are set to perform during the opening ceremony.
This will be followed by the ‘Parade of Nations’ which is expected to start from 6:15 PM (IST). Indian contingent of 572 athletes will be led by Javeline thrower Neeraj Chopra. Below are the details regarding when and where to watch the opening ceremony of Asian games 2018 in India.
