St. Mary’s ICSE, Mazgaon notcged up a 2-0 victory over Ryan International, Chembur to make it to the lst eight, while Bombay Scottish B, edged out St. Joseph, Wadala 4-3 to book their place in the knock-out stages.

Bacardi Blues Sports Club overcame Hot Steppers Sports Club 3-2 in the men’s open, first round match of the Bandra Gymkhana annual floodlit rink football, at the DPRC grounds, Bandra. For Bacardi Blues striker Hasim Roopanghar scored two goals and Harshal Mapannor chipped in one while Hot Steppers scored through Darshan Shetty and Clinton Crasto. Glorian FC got the better of Game Kings by a close 2-1, with Dilip Bhandari and Nigel Marshal scoring one each, while Glorian Ravi Singh reduced the margin for Game Kings. In a Women’s Open match, Baze FC blanked Kapadia Nagar FC 5-0. Shimona Saldanha and Akanksha Kandalkar both struck a brace each while, Rita Goveas scored completed the tally.
