Mumbai : Five-a-side football tournament for the underprivileged children organised by Sunday Boys Football Club and Patron Charitable Trust will be held on July 13, 2014 at the Dreams Field, Hiranandani Estate, Thane.
Entry for first 16 teams only.
Sunday Boys Football Club was established in the year 1997, with the purpose of promoting football. The club’s senior team is currently playing in Super Division of Mumbai Football League, organised by MDFA.
Sunday Boys U-19 team was started in 2008 to serve as a platform for young players. The U19 team is currently playing in Second Division of MDFA League.
Sunday Boys Football Club organise coaching camps and clinics on winter and summer vacations. Many students find it as a platform for first-time football lovers to get acquainted to the game.
It’s a Fitness with Football initiative, where in football enthusiasts who are working can train for recreation and fitness.
The club is in the process of selecting players for their under-14, under-17 and girls team from the students who attended the camp and from their regular batch trainees.
The successful conduct of football coaching camp has been a great attempt in fulfilling club’s vision and objective. Such camps truly demonstrate the “Rise of the Game”.
