27000 kids run in Wadia’s Little Hearts Marathon

Mumbai: More than 27,000 children from across the city participated in the Little Hearts Marathon 2019 organised by Wadia Hospitals at Bandra Kurla Complex on Sunday. The proceeds from the marathon will be used to subsidise care for children ailing from various heart diseases and funds will be utilised for the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery department. Wadia Hospitals aim to help 100 children in each of the city where it plans to organise Little Hearts Marathon in 2019.

Through previous five editions, the hospitals have come up with state of the art infrastructure, high end equipments and a team of doctors with trained nurses. These efforts helped in saving lives of over 1000 children suffering from cardiac ailments.  Present at the event for the flag off were Bollywood Actor John Abraham, Corporator and Board Member Datta Pongade, Dr. Minnie Bodhanwala, CEO, Wadia Hospitals and other dignitaries.
