A major fire broke out in the early hours of Sunday at a factory located in the MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) area of Solapur. The blaze reportedly erupted around 3AM at Central Industries, causing panic in the surrounding area.
Multiple fire tenders were immediately rushed to the scene, and firefighting operations are currently underway. So far, fire personnel have managed to rescue three individuals from the site in critical condition wh0o succumbed later. They have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A large number of fire brigade teams and police personnel have been deployed at the site to control the situation and ensure public safety. Authorities have cordoned off the area and are working to bring the fire under control.
