In yet another unsettling incident for Pune Metro commuters, a Metro train experienced a door malfunction, creating a moment of confusion among passengers on Tuesday. This occurrence unfolded at the Shivajinagar station during the evening hours.
Maha Metro Managing Director Shravan Hardikar told the Indian Express that the doors remained locked due to a technical glitch and they are actively investigating the root cause of this issue. For a 10 minutes, the stranded train left commuters frantically attempting to open the malfunctioning doors.
This latest disruption follows a similar incident earlier this month when Metro services from Nal stop to Vanaz station faced a 21-minute delay.
