Rich traveled and discovered the highest point in the Andes, Peru where he got a chance to meet Quechua people who live at high altitude. When he visited the Amazon rain forest he had the chance to meet an indigenous tribe and community where he performed magic. The locals appreciated his sharing of his passion and in turn shared traditional activities reserved for the community.
An island with a local prison might sound strange to a common man, but Rich explored Maafushi island in the Maldives, which is an island with a local prison where he spent quality time. In this visit, he came to learn spearfishing from locals and how to search out octopus. His love for adventure and acquiring knowledge is never ending, as he continued his journey and set out for Namibia to search out the indigenous Himba people. In Swakopmund, Namibia, he flearned about the Democratic Relocation Program which assists poor families and underprivileged children. As a supporter, he offered food to children and this created a feeling of euphoria and comradery among the children. Taking to more adventure, Rich skied the Alps in Austria and ice climbed in Tyrol. Rich also trekked along Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland. Lastly, he went to the Middle East to learn about traditional Muslim life and affairs of the Middle East.
Rich Manley conveys an inspirational message to everyone about the real value of cultures throughout the world, true culture. He believes every culture holds the essence of humanities beginnings as somewhat of a time capsule and as such needs to be preserved. Due to the fast moving life of the modern age and technology, it is diminishing from the world, which turns out to be a matter of serious concern. In addition, Rich always encourages people to always keep learning and growing, make life as an adventure that is constantly challenging mind, body, and soul.
