CRISP Bhopal has extended its arm in soft skills at Ethiopia

CRISP has proved its need and worth to the Industries and universities in Ethiopia by continuously providing technical consultancy and training. A new mile stone has been put in place by extending expertise in the area of behaviour science (soft skills) to the University top management.

Recently two soft skills training were administered to the management and head of the departments of University Institute of technology Dire Dawa University Ethiopia. These 05 days programmes were organized in association with TSS consulting agency located in Addis Ababa.

Dr. Ranjan Kumar, Chief Project Officer of CRISP was the expert from India for the first programme ‘Managing self & Motivation’. Twenty two Sr. Management officials and Head of the Department of different engineering trades participated in the training programme. The participants were exposed to different psychological intervention to make them understand their in built potential and application in real life situations.  Case studies and real life experiences were shared. The participants realized that they can generate more output than before and can be successful.

The Second training programme was conducted by Mr. Mathew John from CRISP India. The theme was “Team Building”. The participants were put on a number of psychometric tools, structured exercise, Management team games, Group exercises. All the participants enjoyed the training programme. It was a lifetime experience for the teachers.

Seeing the positive impact on the participants the university management has approved another programme titled Excellence through Multiple Intelligence (Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test) This training programme has started today and will be over on 24th May. Experts for this training program were Dr Sansmriti Mishra and Mr. Amber Chaturvedi . This will help the participants to know their inborn/inherent potential and acquired potential. It focuses on Stress and stress management, Memory enhancement, Creativity and innovation and enhancing Emotional Quotients thereby making the participants change; enhance their qualities for a better career.

Seeing the grand introduction and success of soft skills inputs Mr. Mukesh Sharma the Chief Executive Officer, CRISP is confident of replicating these inputs to other universities and educational institutions in Ethiopia and other African countries which will induce the need of behavior science in the working to become successful professionals.
