NTPC-Ramagundam bags National Energy Leader Award 2020 and Excellent Energy Efficient Award 2020

NTPC-Ramagundam received prestigious National Energy Leader Award 2020 and Excellent Energy Efficient Award 2020 consecutively for second year by CII during the Energy Efficiency Summit 2020 held on August 25-28, 2020 through Webinar. This award recognizes NTPC-Ramagundam’s exemplary performance in the field of Energy Efficiency and Environmental protections. Availability of the plant above 90% despite being a four-decade old plant; More than 100% ash utilization in last three years, 100 MW Floating Solar project under execution (largest in India in term of capacity), thrust on green initiative under Haritha Haram and Miyawaki Forest; focus on FGD and R&M; Geopolymer road are to name few activities which really helped in enriching the environment.
