Mumbai: In yet another incident, commuters on Western Railway (WR) were left without a platform when four coaches of a Churchgate bound slow local overshot the platform at Charni Road during early hours on Tuesday. The incident happened at 6:15 am in the morning when by the time the train came to a halt four coaches had already passed the halt mark. Chief PRO of WR, Sharat Chandrayan, said, “The train was halted there for about 10 minutes before it was sent ahead to the next station. The train was not rolled back. A departmental inquiry will be conducted to investigate the cause of the incident.”
