The most awaited event of the year—The Kingfisher Ultra Indian Derby 2019—will take place at the Royal Western India Turf Club, Mahalaxmi Racecourse. It is one of the most prestigious horse races in the country. Acknowledged as the mother of all events, it is the second leg of the Indian Triple Crown, preceded by the Indian 2000 Guineas and followed by The Indian St. Leger. Monday, February 4 and Tuesday February 5, will also witness an auction of over 171 horses at the annual auction sale at the RWITC. Whether you’re a veteran, an amateur or brand new to the world of horses, you can be a part of the annual auction sale. Getting back to Derby day, more than 30,000 are touted to attend this sensational event, which offers great entertainment, music, a variety of cuisines and beverages, all topped by the thrill of the race.
