Mumbai: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday caught two government officials red-handed while demanding and accepting bribes in two separate traps.  Senior enquiry inspector of BEST, Dilip Jadhav, demanded a sum of Rs 30,000 from the complainant to help him get a new connection. Following the complainant the ACB on Wednesday morning caught Jadhav red-handed while accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe at Khodadad Circle at Dadar TT. In the second case, the accused Prakash Sawant who had demanded a bribe of Rs 25 lakh from the chairperson of a bank. After the complainant paid the first installment of Rs 1.5 lakh on September 2, Sawant again demanded Rs 1.5 lakh on the same day. The ACB laid a trap on Tuesday where Sawant was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe at Hotel Regency in Andheri.
