Trespass complaint filed against Cong corporator

Mumbai : A case of criminal trespass has been registered against Congress Corporator Mohsin Haider at Oshiwara police station.  According to the Oshiwara police, Mohsin Haider (49) had sent flowers to the complainant Sunil Shukla (46) at his Lokhandwala residence.

According to the complaint by Shukla, Haider had sent his staff to residence who clicked photos inside the flat and tried to find out the whereabouts of the family members on the pretext of delivering the flowers. The incident took place on Friday evening  at around 5.00p.m at the residence of the complainant. Haider is a Corporator of K-West ward and lives on Gilbert Hill road in Andheri (W). According to police sub-inspector Subhash Khanvilkar, “Haider had sent flowers to Shukla’s residence because Shukla brings Ganpati at his place every year and Haider wanted to convey his good wishes to the family.”

“The complainant Shukla and the accused Haider are friends since school time,” said Khanvilkar. According to Khanvilkar, “Earlier Shukla had lodged a similar complaint against Haider at the D N Nagar police station.”
