Mumbai: Services on Western Railway were thrown out of gear on Wednesday after an over head equipment (OHE) broke off and fell on platform no. 8 of Borivali railway station affecting the fast corridor. To avoid cancellations, services were diverted on slow tracks and were running 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule. As the incident happened during the non peak hours, the effect was minimal. Trains were running with a delay of 15 minutes on the Harbour line on Wednesday. This is the second consecutive day when services on harbour line were running late.
