Mumbra Policewoman Constable (Amaldar) Rekha Baburao Shinde made her mark in the field of bodybuilding at the Greater Bombay Bodybuilding Association in Mumbai by claiming the Maharashtra Shri, which was held in Pune on February 5.
It is a prestigious crown achieved by Shinde and a source of pride for Thane for winning the esteemed title of 'Maharashtra Shri' in a very competitive competition.
Shinde had earlier won the gold medal and championship in the 50-55 weight category in the Maharashtra Police Games 2023 held in Pune. She had also won the gold medal and cup in the All India Police Games held in Haryana in 2023.
She won the silver medal in the All India Police Games Wrestling Cluster held in Lucknow in 2024 and also won the gold medal in the Maharashtra Police Games-2024 held in Nashik.
