Thane: Four persons were arrested for allegedly robbing a godown in Bhiwandi, police said on Tuesday. During the probe, police realised two of them are escaped prisoners having escaped from Aadharwadi Jail in the district in 2008, an official said. “A godown was robbed on March 1 of yarn worth Rs2.67 lakh.
Shatab Qureshi, Sagar Mishra, Dulal Chauhan and Raju Harijan have been arrested,” a Narpoli police official said. Mishra and Harijan had escaped from Aadharwadi Jail in Kalyan on October 2, 2008 and were on the run since, he added.
