Thane: The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) additional commissioner Sanjay Herwade briefly escaped the accident when a small branch of a tree fell down on his car at Louiswadi in Thane when he was inspecting the area on Tuesday, July 5 amidst heavy rains.
Earlier on Tuesday morning the TMC chief Dr Vipin Sharma Instructed the officials to inspect the area to check that no untoward incidents take place in the city.
As the heavy rains have lashed out many parts of the city, the Thane civic body additional commissioner Sanjay Herwade went to the Louiswadi area for inspection. Suddenly the branch of a tree fell on the additional commissioner's car but no one was injured in the incident because fortunately Herwade and his driver were outside the car.
Speaking with the FPJ correspondent Sandeep Malvi, additional commissioner of TMC said, "Small branch of a tree fell down on his car when Sanjay Herwade and his driver were out of the car. "
