Mumbai: In a remarkable display of Nari Shakti, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) station witnessed a massive ticket check operation on October 23, 2023. This special operation was carried out exclusively by a dedicated team of 47 female Ticket Checking Examiners, supported by 11 women from the Railway Protection Force, known as the 'Tejaswini Squad.'
Furthermore, the Tejaswini Squad imposed a total penalty of Rs 1,88,605 on those found traveling without valid tickets.

"The Tejaswini Squad showcased their prowess, tact, vigilance, and efficiency as they meticulously scrutinized passengers and their tickets. Their efforts led to the detection of a staggering 730 ticketless passengers, reflecting their unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity of railway services," said an official of CR.
"All passengers are earnestly urged to adhere to the rules and regulations by traveling with proper tickets and conducting themselves with dignity. In today's digital age, passengers are encouraged to utilise the 'UTS MOBILE APP' for the convenience of obtaining unreserved tickets," said an official.
