As she refused to return, her mother and Shaikh contacted her uncle who had a fight with them. The matter was brought to the notice of police resulting into girl’s arrival in Dongri remand home. Here, the physical check-up of the girl revealed her sexual abuse. An FIR has been registered against Shaikh under relevant sections of the law.
