Mumbai : A 24-year-old ‘spiderman thief’, who climbed 30 feet, holding a drainage pipe, and then entered the third floor of a high end apartment at Churchgate, was arrested by the police after he fled away with a mobile phone and cash Rs.6000.

The police said that the Shilpa Shah (18), her mobile phone and cash was missing on Tuesday morning.
The accused identified as Aakash Praksh Jaadhav, a pavement dweller from Parel was arrested by the police on Wednesday under section 457 and 380 of IPC.
According to the police, the accused climbed up the third floor of Sadhna Apartment, at A road, near Churchgate, on Monday night, and entered through window when victim was sleeping. He fled away with her Samsung Galaxy mobile phone and Rs.6,000 cash from her purse. As soon as the victim woke up the next morning she realised that her phone and cash was missing after which they approached the police station.
“We have arrested Jaadhav and hundred percent recovery has been made,” said PSI Santosh Thore, of Marine Drive police station.
