Mumbai: Taking cue from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena has also decided to organise a Maharashtra tour of their young leader Aaditya Thackeray. This tour is also aimed to establish Aaditya Thackeray as the next leader of the Shiv Sena. This will help Shiv Sena to appoint him in the Cabinet at key posts, if Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and Shiv Sena return to power. Its evident that whosoever gets more numbers in the Assembly will lead the state government, both BJP and Shiv Sena are trying to be the single largest party in the state. BJP has planned a Vikas Rathyatra ( Development Statewide Tour) in August to showcase the development oriented work undertaken by the State government. Yuva Sena (Youth front of Shiv Sena) Chief Aaditya’s tour will be named as Jan- Aashirwad Yatra ( People’s Blessings Tour). BJP has left no stone unturned to expand the party base in the state.

The recently launched party membership drive is expected to be instrumental in strengthening the party organisation. Shiv Sena has also geared up to strengthen their party base. To ensure this, the party has decided to appoint a Shakhapramukh ( Branch Head) and UP- Shakhapramukh (Deputy Branch Head) in every Prabhag ( group of wards) of the cities. Aaditya will hit the road and will visit all 288 constituencies of the state.

Details yet to be finalised

The details of the tour of Aaditya Thackeray are being worked out. This tour will be aimed at thanking those voters who voted for Shiv Sena in 2019 Lok Sabha election. This tour will also appeal to those voters who did not vote for Shiv Sena to vote for Shiv Sena in the Assembly election. After finalising the dates and the places planned for the visit, the tour will be officially announced, stated Varun Sardesai, General Secretary of Yuva Sena.
