Aurangabad : A senior Shiv Sena leader and former Maharashtra minister, Chandrakant Khaire, said that Shiv Sena was with BJP on the Hinduism agenda and BJP has betrayed Shiv Sena by snapping its ties with Shiv Sena. But Shiv Sena is committed to protect Hindus in Aurangabad and won’t hesitate in bloodshed for protecting Hindus in Aurangabad.
MP Khaire, who is elected to Lok Sabha for 4th consecutive terms in last April, was addressing a meeting of party workers in Aurangabad on Sunday. Spelling out the party strategy for Assembly elections MP Khaire said that nine out of 9 Assembly seats in Aurangabad district will be bagged by Shiv Sena with a comfortable margin in every constituency. Shiv Sena was formed in Aurangabad on June 8, 1985 and it fought to protect common Hindus.
The city witnessed communal riots during early months of 1988. Hindus were targeted bit BJP didn’t come forward to protect them. It was because of Bal Thackeray’s ideology and Shiv Sena’s reply that Green communalism was discarded from the city.
This time, MIM has fielded its candidates in the city. However, Shiv Sena will give a befitting reply to MIM as it had given in 1998, MP Khaire added.
Taking a dig at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for interfering in the matter of breakup between Shiv Sena and BJP, MP Khaire said that the founder president of Shiv Sena Bal Thackeray had extended his unconditional support to Modi during the Gujarat riots when he was in trouble. Only Bal Thackeray sent him (Khaire) as his representative to Modi to support him when all were against. But now Modi is silent when Bal Thackeray’s son (Uddhav Thackeray) is being betrayed by his men namely Amit Shah and Devendra Phadnavis. Khaire also alleged that Amit Shah and former union minister and NCP leader, Praful Patel, are hand-in-gloves and have hatched a conspiracy to finish Shiv Sena.
