Mumbai : Senior Shiv Sena politician and MLC Neelam Gorhe on Wednesday said that party workers want party chief Uddhav Thackeray’s son, Aditya Thackeray, to take up full-time politics and represent people in the Assembly.
“Aditya has a keen interest in legislative politics. He is a person who cares deeply for the people and wants to do something for them by solving their problems. He has started contributing immensely to the party and his work will be definitely helpful as an MLA. We expect more from him now,” Sena MLC Neelam Gorhe told PTI.
Incidentally, if Aditya stands for elections, he will be the first person from the Thackeray family to to so, since the family has always preferred to control the government from behind the curtains, ever since the Sena came into existence.
