The schemes that were approved include Rs 75-crore and Rs 6-crore worth of development schemes for scheduled castes and tribes respectively, the minister said while briefing reporters after the meeting at Chetna College in Bandra.
Tawde also said that the committee has decided to meet every three months henceforth. He told the reporters that the committee has also invited memorandums from corporators and MLAs from the suburbs regarding monsoon-related problems in their respective areas, adding that they have been asked to submit their suggestions towards tackling these problems within 15 days, so that implementing the same could be facilitated.
