Jewelery and cash totaling Rs 97,000 was stolen from a senior citizen admitted in a COVID-19 facility in Kalyan in Thane district, police said on Monday.

The theft took place between October 3 and 11 when she was admitted at the facility in Govindwadi and efforts were on the nab the culprits, the Bazarpeth police station official said.
