Prince Charles pays homage to 26/11 terror attack victims at a memorial at Taj Hotel on Saturday.
Mumbai: Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Saturday paid floral tributes to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks at the Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, officials said.
The royal couple laid a wreath at the memorial in the hotel in the presence of Tata Group chairman emeritus Ratan Tata and Tata Group chairman Cyrus Mistry.
On a hectic day, Prince Charles met senior Indian corporate heads at a roundtable discussion on corporate social responsibility. Among those present were Piramal Group’s chief Swati Piramal, ICICI Bank’s Chanda Kochhar and Mahindra & Mahindra’s Anand Mahindra.
Later, Prince Charles went to the Soonabai Pirojsha Godrej Marine Ecology Centre in Vikhroli, northeast Mumbai. He took a tour of a medicinal herbs reserve and a boat ride in the area, which is bordered by rich mangroves.
