Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leaders have given Central Railway (CR) an ultimatum of three months for resolving commuters’ problems for poor suburban rail services.
Amit Thackeray, son of Raj Thackeray had a meeting with CR officials on Tuesday where he discussed several issues such as safety of women commuters, installing of CCTV cameras, train services getting delayed, cancellation of trains and many others.
“We had positive meeting with CR General Manager where they have given assurance of resolving the issues. However, we have given them a ultimatum of three months if we don’t see any changes then we will protest in MNS style,” said Amit Thackeray at the meeting.
