Mumbai : A rail fracture occurred on CST-Harbour line on Monday afternoon following which services were disrupted for half an hour, informed a railway official. The incident occurred at 3.35pm when the train was leaving from the slow track towards harbour line. Following this, the Central railway officials started work to restore the train services.

Following this, the services were resumed at 4.10 pm following the technical glitch on the harbour line. However, this led to inconvenience to harbour line passengers till the services were resumed. “There were no trains for nearly half an hour which led to huge crowd at the station. Though the services were resumed early, such small disruptions lead to huge problems for the commuters,” said Zara Khan, a commuter who was standing for the train at CST-harbour line platform.
