Mumbai: A 45-year-old man, Vikram Vasudev committed suicide from the Bandra-Worli sea link between 6-6.30 am on Monday. Vasudev, a resident of Prabhadevi had come to the sea link in his Wagon R car and was on the Bandra-bound way. A security guard at the sea link saw Vasudev getting out of the car. The guard, realising his intentions called out to Vasudev and ran towards him. However, Vasudev did not pay heed to him and jumped into the sea. This is the fourth suicide on the sea link in the last one month. According to Vasudev’s wife, Pooja Vasudev, he was in depression due to his three-year-old son’s death caused by a brain tumour four years back. He was also facing financial problems for the past one month.
