Raj Thackeray had been in headlines for his anti-Modi campaign, not only that MNS supremo has been addressing massive rallies in the state, campaigning against Narendra Modi and Amit Shah and appealing for a Modi Mukt Bharat. But now reports have surfaced saying that a petition has been filed in Bombay High Court against MNS chief Raj Thackeray which demands CID inquiry for hi remarks on Pulwama terror attacks.
According to Lok Satta, the petition has been filed by former journalist S. Balakrishnan. But Bombay High Court has refused to hear the plea. Balakrishna has filed a petition demanding that a complaint should be registered against Thackeray and a CID inquiry should be conducted against him.
Earlier the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief said that the 40 jawans killed in the Pulwama attack were “political victims”, and “every government manufactured such things but it is taking place more frequently under Modi’s rule”. “Our jawans have been killed and we are told we should not ask questions. I had earlier predicted that before the 2019 elections, Narendra Modi and this government would create a war-like situation. They are so predictable. I want to ask why did this attack happen now?” Thackeray said while addressing party workers during the 13th foundation day of MNS.
