Paragliders, microlight aircraft banned during R-Day parade

Mumbai: Fearing terrorist attacks, the Mumbai police has banned paragliders and remote-controlled microlight aircraft during the Republic Day function held at Shivaji Park on 26 January. Paragliders and remote-controlled microlight aircraft have been banned in the jurisdiction of Mahim police station, Dadar police station, Shivaji Park police station and Worli police station. K G Patil, deputy commissioner of police, issued this order on Thursday.
