Mumbai: Welcoming the refusal of the Mumbai police commissioner to grant an extension to former police commissioner Satyapal Singh on his official quarters, the Police Reforms Watch (PRW) said there were more than 20 serving officers still holding on to their quarters although they were posted elsewhere. These officers should vacate their quarters promptly. Or else, Police Reforms Watch will send ‘Get Well’ cards to them, said Dolphy D’Souza of PRW. Reacting to Singh’s statement that he would abide by whatever decision the government took on this issue, PRW said, “ You have no choice, Sir. You should have vacated the quarters long time ago.’’
