Bhayandar : Residents of Mira-Bhayandar who face serious water problem are in for more trouble. There will be any water supply to them on Wednesday due to the ongoing pre-monsoon and pipeline cross-connection work being undertaken across the twin-city. The shutdown will affect water supply from the service providers STEM and MIDC.

“Although it is a 24-hour shutdown starting at 9 am on Wednesday, water supply is bound to be affected for the next couple of days due to low pressure,” said Suresh Vakode, executive engineer (water supply), MBMC. He appealed to residents to store water for the day and use it with care to avoid wastage.
