Mumbai: Representatives of BJP, NCP and RPI (Athawale group) on Thursday assured the Bombay High Court that they would not put up hoardings without the permission of the local civic authorities anywhere in the state. The division bench headed by Justice Oka asked them to give a written undertaking to this effect, adjourning a public interest litigation on the issue of unauthorised hoardings to July 28. The court also issued fresh notices to Congress, Shiv Sena, MNS and BSP, asking them to keep their lawyers/ representatives present next time.
