Deceased Dilip Patel was resident of Bhayandar

Bhayandar : Fate had written it otherwise for Bhayandar resident Dilip Patel. Along with his two children, wife and mother-in-law, he was driving down to Pune on Sunday in his car as his daughter Binal was to complete process of admission in an educational institute there on Monday. Landslide on his way snatched away his life even as he was driving the car. His four-year-old son Mann, wife Dharmika and mother-in-law Nirmala sustained serious injuries. All of them are undergoing medical treatment at a state-run hospital in Lonavala.

Residents of Shree Vardhaman Nagar Residential Complex in Indralok area of Bhayandar (East) were shocked when they came to know about the tragic incident on Sunday afternoon. “Soft-spoken and always helpful Dilip Patel used to run a chemist store. We all are in a state of shock,” said his neighbour Jitendra Vaishnav. Patel was living in Bhayandar since the last five years.
