Bhayandar : Lashing out at various issues, including allegations of impropriety surrounding some of the top ministers in the BJP-led state government, Congress MLC Bhai Jagtap expressed his disappointment over the silence of senior NCP leaders with regard to the tainted politicians.
Interestingly, Jagtap’s comment comes days after senior Congress and NCP leaders met to chalk out the opposition’s strategy against the scam-hit BJP during the upcoming monsoon session. “As a responsible opposition, we have regularly followed up on the issue and if the need arises, we will not hesitate in moving the judiciary,” Jagtap said.
Ministers Pankaja Munde and Vinod Tawde are facing allegations of financial irregularities in awarding contracts in gross violations of norms. Additionally, Tawde also faces allegations of submitting fake educational degrees.
