NCP worker’s son found murdered

Mumbai : He had gone to his sister’s house for celebrating ‘Bhau Beej’, but Jitendra Patil (34), a resident Airoli, was found dead at his friend’s house on Friday with his body bound and stuffed into a plastic bag.

Patil is the son Chandu Patil, a NCP activist from Airoli, and had gone to visit his sister at Malwani in Malad on Tuesday.
Senior Police Inspector, Abdulrauf Shaikh, says, “The family members came to the police station on Thursday and said Jitendra’s phone was switched off and he wasn’t in touch with anyone.”
Jitendra had already left from his sister’s house to attend the funeral of his friend’s father and immediately went to meet another friend Mahesh Koli.
Koli has been detained for questioning although cops were unable to clear it out if he was the man behind the murder.
