Mumbai : Slamming the Shiv Sena-BJP ruled BMC for failing to control dengue, regional leader of the NCP, Sanjay Dina Patil, issued a statement here on Thursday asking for better control of the disease. “The BMC is buying substandard fuel from a black-listed company for its fumigation machines which has led to an epidemic-like situation in the city. BMC continues to do so despite our opposition since the company is banned in cities like Surat and Pune. This exposes corruption in the corporation,” said a statement issued by Patil on Thursday. Patil has also slammed Mayor Snehal Ambekar for her statement trivializing dengue and demanded a thorough controlling of the disease.
