In the second incident, a toddler girl, barely two-and-a-half years old, died swallowing a banana piece. The Urkude family, suffered a disaster in the middle of a celebration on January 25.
The mother of a six-year-old boy, had blown two balloons and gave him the last one after his repeated requests. The third balloon was torn and the young boy tried to make a small new one and began to blow into it. In that interim period, while he tried a bit too hard, the young lad swallowed the balloon, which stuck in his wind pipe. He panicked and tried running into his house, but died immediately.
In the second incident, in Pardi area, a toddler of Mishra family had gone to her neighbours to play. The neighbours gave bananas as prasad to all the children, including this toddler. There was nobody to supervise or see whether the bites she was taking are smaller. Having taken a big bite, the toddler girl began chocking after the banana got stuck in her wind pipe. The neighbours tried to remove and unable to do so, called on her parents to help. But by the time her parents came to help her, the young girl died.
