Musical end to Mridang-2019 in Bhayandar

Bhayandar: After providing a relaxing breather to students from the routine academic sessions, the two-day annual intercollegiate fest, Mridang-2019, organised by Reena Mehta College in Bhayandar ended on Saturday night. As the name Mridang (musical instrument) suggest it was a befitting musical end to festival.

Packed with high-octane performances, creative themes, celebrity appearances and more, the cultural fiesta which has always been one of the much awaited event also aimed to serve as a platform for the expression of youth opinion on social problems.

Playing a significant role in one’s college life, fests are not just about fun but it also augments a student’s learning experience. Through participation in fests, a student has this opportunity of picking up a variety of skills,” said college head Reena Mehta. The event included concerts, Bollywood night, competitions, fashion show, dance and singing performances.
