Owing to shortage of supply yet again, vaccination drive in civic and government run hospitals will take place between 2 pm and 5 pm on Thursday. This was announced by the BMC on Wednesday. It said that vaccines will be administered only on the basis of pre-registration on July 15.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday 65,224 beneficiaries were inoculated. As many as 30,299 beneficiaries between 18 to 44 age group, 29,941 beneficiaries between 45 to 59 years of age and 7,805 beneficiaries above 60 years were inoculated on Wednesday.
A total of 1,357 healthcare workers and frontline workers were also inoculated on Wednesday.
Apart from this, 657 students and professionals set to travel abroad, were administered the dose on Wednesday along with 67 specially able citizens and 81 beneficiaries without ID proofs.
