Mumbai: Two unidentified bodies have been recovered in Mumbai within four days and both bodies are decomposed. On Sunday, the Sahu Nagar police received a call at 1pm regarding the body of a woman floating in a drain near Kinkar chowk.

The police team immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the body. “The body is decomposed. Her identity could not be established. She is in her early 40s. We have sent the body to Sion hospital,” said an officer from Sahu Nagar police station. On Aug 24 at 1:45pm, Versova police was informed that body of a man in his late 30s has been lying near sea beach. The police team reached there and recovered the body, which was highly decomposed. The face of the body was beyond recognition.

The police have sent the body to Cooper hospital in Santa Cruz west. “It seems that they have drowned in the sea somewhere else and their bodies reached Mumbai. However, we have circulated their pictures in all the police stations to check if any missing complaint against these people has been registered,” said an officer from Mumbai police. The police have registered Accidental Death Report (ADR) in both the cases.
