Mumbai: Now, blocking doors of trains would not be easy as the Western Railway is on a spree to catch people indulging in this activity. More than 1000 people have been apprehended by the WR until March 24, 2019.
Ravinder Bhakar – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, there were many complaints regarding train bullies in local trains who block the doors and obstruct passengers from boarding the trains.
“Taking serious note of this, WR RPF personnel carried out a special drive against such train bullies, at Borivali, Bhayandar, Vasai Rd, Nalasopara and Virar stations. During the drive almost a thousand people were apprehended and Rs 1.47 lakh recovered as fine.
